There are two types of information we collect.  The first is general information regarding the pages on our web site.  We track the number of hits, which pages were visited, geographic area of users, browsers, operating systems, screen resolutions, screen colors, referrers and ISP host names.  This information is used by FCM to fine tune the site and monitor the effectiveness of the site.  The second is the personal information you give us if you fill out the Credit Pre-approval Form.  This information is not stored in a database; it is emailed to FMC using a secure connection to the web server.  It will not be used for marketing purposes and will not be sold or given to another party, except the credit reporting agency used to qualify buyers for a loan, and is used only by those employees who perform credit checks in order to pre-qualify you for a car loan.

 

The FCM web site does not use cookies or utilize banner ads.

 

Does FCM disclose the information it gathers to third parties?

 

FCM does not sell, rent or release information on our website to any individuals, companies or groups.  Any information we gather is used for FCM’s own purposes as stated above.

 

How secure is the information I send to FCM?

 

FCM uses secure server software.  Should you provide us with information for credit pre-approval, that information is sent to the web server using industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology.
